The Story

One Maker. Every Trade That Matters.

Lumination Designs is what happens when an engineer's curiosity refuses to stay in one lane.

How It Started

From a Single Glowing Cube

It started with a lithophane — a photo carved in translucent layers that only reveals itself when the light comes on. Friends wanted one. Then their friends did. Lumination Designs was born.

But the workshop never stopped growing. The same drive that turned photos into glowing keepsakes led to custom-designed parts, personalized gifts, LED installations, home automation, FAA-certified drone photography, and deep hands-on expertise in modern AI tools.

Today, Lumination Designs is a true jack-of-all-trades technology studio: if it involves designing, printing, wiring, lighting, flying, or automating something — it's probably been built here.

The Philosophy

Why "Jack of All Trades" Is the Point

Most projects don't fit neatly in one discipline. A custom night light is design and printing and electronics. A business automation is software and process and people. When one maker carries a project across every discipline it touches, nothing gets lost in the hand-offs — and the details stay cared for from first sketch to final glow.

Let's Build Something Together

A keepsake, a part, a glow, an automation — or something nobody's made yet.
